Brooke and I went to the same Junior High (Bonneville Jr. High in Holladay, Utah) but didn’t meet until high school. We did have a ton of mutual friends though, so it’s always interesting to look back and see how things cross over.
As we’ve been going through things trying to figure out what we can digitize, we ran across two cassette tapes, one from Brooke’s Chorus class and one from my Band Class. We luckily still have a tape player and were able to run a cable from its headphone jack into my PC so I could capture the audio.
The first tape was from Brooke’s Advanced Chorus class, recorded in 1993, right before we graduated from Junior High. If you head over to YouTube you can check out the song listing and skip straight to songs in the description.
My band tape was from the year before in 1992. I definitely played in the Concert Band and Jazz band and may have played with the orchestra in this case as well, although I don’t 100% remember. Again, head over to YouTube for a track listing.
